Solid and accessible introduction to Big History. He illustrates the use of his term by describing the succession of astronomical, planetarian and human regimes.

Big History Fred Spier. I am not convinced. It’s surprising that this specialization of history is as young as it is, given that one of the main functions of history I’ve always thought is to establish context for lugag present.
What will come after is explored briefly eel the end of the book. Featuring a variety of updates and revisions, Big History and the Future of Humanity, Second Edition, presents an accessible and original overview of the entire sweep of history from the origins of the universe and origins of life on Earth up to the present day.
